While there is a high degree of correlation between blood and saliva alcohol levels, any presumptive positive saliva test would need to be confirmed – either through blood or breath – and DOT rules requires confirmation using breath alcohol.
Our solution is a simple one-step saliva screening test that works in a clean, non-invasive manner and provides results in few minutes. Applicants simply wet the test pad with saliva and the indicator line indicates a Blood Alcohol Concentration exceeding 0.02%
